when i put the vinyl on the taillights i turned them on and just followed the reflector, the part that didnt light up at all anyways. I made sure to not black out anything that was needed other then the reflector.
got the vinyl at Gibralter Trade Center and it was cheap too! cost was $20 for 2'x3'
