Are you gong to go, too??? I'd really push the fact of totaling it. Let your insurance company know that. Insurance companies don't usually like to do it, espically with newer cars. Don't be surprised if they do fix it. But, a simple request to total it will usually work. My dad wrecked his 2000 MB M55 SUV two years ago (well, he was hit). Car rolled over on to its side, an emmense amoutnof damage, all 8 bags popped. THe frame wasn't damaged, but the body was f*cked up. Truck had a value of 41grand and they said there was about 32,000 worth. They were going to repair it. My dad said, no.. total it. I'm not going to drive that car, it won't be the same. And they totaled it.
