...putting the AC core within an airbox to cool the air down before it goes through all the sensors. Cool air is more dense, hnce needs more fuel to keep ratio balanced. And, obviously, more fuel = more power!!

Just thinking out loud...

Its been discussed before.
The consesus was that it wasn't woth the time and effort because you wouldn't see any gain.
The drain on the engine to run the AC would cancel any gains that cooling the air would add.
Plus I think it would cool the air too much and start to choke the engine.
I'm sure somebody else could explain it a bit more technicly than me, but I think those were the general ideas.

I mentioned this in the past but I don't think anyone tried. Get one of those small prtable igloo plug in ice boxes and cut 2 holes into it. One for the air cleaner and one for the maf. Cold air all the time with no drain on the engine.

You can get the parts out of an igloo cooler and use them alone. Some people use them on computer heat sinks, though they down last long. They are small and flat and run on 12v current. They dissipate heat from one side to the other. Worth a shot.

"Wow, that sank fast." "Yeah, like a rock."
