Here are the pictures as promised.

To start with, I connected the hose end into the pressure sensor hole, the brass fitting to the left is an angle connector I'll be using to connect a T with the pressure sensor and a mechanical gauge line.

Loose hose routing while I finish the motor, I'm going to rig some sort of clip or cable ties later on.

The hose routing behind the coolant resevoir. (I did a bolt in fitment test, but it was camera shy)

Here you can see the hose fits behind the P/S resevoir.

And with the P/S resevoir removed the routing hole becomes visible.

Here is the opening on the cowl vent side.

Acumulator Install.

A couple of pics to show the mounts. (You'll notice I only used 3 bolts, the fourth mount hole isn't flush due to firewall contours)

Man, if I had the money and skill... that's very nice. Good job!

so you removed the pressure sensor, installed the accusump into that hole and then used the other hole and a T to accomidate the pressure sensor and a pressure guage. is this the best way to install. where will the oil be distributed into the engine, main bearings etc. is this the best way to install?

This is the route I went... and as for where the oil enters the engine, both holes tap into the same internal passage, just 1" apart.

The passge itself is the main passage from the filter to the entire engine, so oil coming from the accumulator will go everywhere that the pump was pushin oil.

*Note*

I switched the pressure sensor to the other hole because, in order to use the "plugged" hole an angled fitting is required to clear the A/C pump (not pictured). I did not account for this when ordering my parts, and only discovered it during installation. I already had the proper fittings of the sensor diameter lying around, so I simply switchd holes.

Ordering an angled fitting instead of a straight fitting while purchasing parts will prevent the need to swap holes.

*Note 2*

The BAT kit ordered with fittings as opposed to the sandwich adapter, comes with one straight fitting (accumulator end) and one 90degree (will work perfectly in plugged hole).

You removed the heads with the engine still in the car...why? That seems like such a PITA...I would've just puled the motor.

Looks very nice.

I've always told myself I should add one of those.

good idea mounting it there, so far i've only seen them mounted in the battery area...

Bondurant mounted their accumulators in that same spot.
