I just put on my Pro-FLow MAF a month ago, and in the last two weeks I got a too lean on bank 2 code. Has any one else experienced this or do you think something else might be causing my code

I just had that code about a week ago and took a day to track it down, turned out to be a leaky valve cover gasket... replaced and now there no code. Check for any leaks in you vacum system if you find one. then thats prolly whats throwing the code

Yeah for me it's wierd, I got it once, my buddy took it to work, checked the fuel stuff and for vacuum leaks but he found nothing. So he deleted the code. Then two weeks later the code came back again, so I replaced the plugs and wires. All good the it just came back again.

Justin, maybe you have a faulty O2 sensor. If that were the problem, it would be completely coincidental with the new MAF being installe. But historically, O2 sensors are prime candidates for lean OBD2 codes, at least when the stock MAF is retained.

Ok, I put on the stock MAF any it came on again, so I'm finally sure it isn't the 75mm MAF. This is really starting to vex me, cause my car isn't running well and its so nice out and I can't go racing around. Anyone know how to check a O2 sensor. I don't remember much from auto class except you need a torch?

What you need to do is get a filter screen from BAT. It diffuses the air coming into the throttle body. It is only like 10 bucks, too. I hear that this will solve the issue.

Are there any known side effects to putting a 75mm MAF on the SVT Contour? I am thinking about buying one but I want to know if I am gonna harm anything. Thanks
