Honestly, I can't say for sure that it won't work, but based on BAT's catalog they say that they supply fittings for oil galley install for any oil-cooler equipped cars, which makes me believe the sandwich adapter is not for the SVT. My thought on why would be clearance issues after moving the filter that much further away from the block.
