OP realness1978 Junior Member R Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 12 Rhode Island	Hi all! I have 1999 Contour LX. I just wanted to know is it normal to hear a ticking sound after you turn off your the car. If this is not normal is there anything I could do about it?

If you have changed headers also, then it could just be from heat shielding on the exhaust components, or the pipes themselves.
