Just curious to know if anyone has relocatted their ignition from the steering column to maybe the dashboard and how hard it was to do?

If you want your car to be stolen really easy, i would suggest this mod. When I had to replace the ignition stuff, it was no fun to get into. Course I had a key broken off inside of it!

How'd you do that. Contour keys are the biggest and thickest keys I've even seen, evar!

you would be amazed how often this happens. when i worked at home depot i was always getting people bringing in a key in 2 or 3 pieces and asking me to recut it because they broke it in the ignition. generally, not always and not making an accusation here, i have found the that key has been used carelessly and finally succomb to fatigue at the most inopportune moment.
