that's what i was thinking too. but then again, they probably have stockholders all over the world. 
with engines built in Japan, bodies assembled in Mexico, interior pieces made in China, and the final product sold only in the US, its kinda hard these days to apply labels so liberally like the good ole days. are there ANY vehicles left that are completely, 100%, built in one country? 100%?
although, it does help to further offset the trade deficit with Japan. they make more money by selling products to the US, meanwhile still restricting the flow of US goods into their country.
the whole thing is a catch 22. youre damned if you do and youre damned if you dont.
