Anybody know the part number for the Ford stereo puller tool?

I went by ford to get one but he said their isnt such a thing. I've seen one before, its like to handles that lock in to each side so you can slide it out.

A bent hangar or they sell em at wally world.

you can get them pretty much anywhere for a couple bucks. i wouldnt recommend using a hanger cause you can damage it (not likely but can happen). hit up walmart or meijer or pretty much any stores auto dept and they'll have them.

i tried the bent hanger method and it wouldn't budge. so i payed to local stereo store $5 and they had a hell of time pulling the bastard.

Yeah i pulled mine with the two bent ends of a metal hanger. It was kinda tough... I just made sure to pull one side up at a time. When i tried pulling both sides i felt like i was going to rip the whole dash off!

the first time i pulled my stock stereo it was a [censored] but i did put it back in there when my generic piece of crap cd player ate my cd and when i pulled it out to put my pioneer head unit it it was easy

Shucks sells the radio puller for 6 dollars (Checker auto parts in most of the country or Kragen in california)

or 1.99 at autozone

I used a set of allen keys, then eventually got a pair of the pullers for free
