All right here is the deal for a group buy for EH UIM's. I believe this has been posted in the past, but we made another run at them for better pricing.

0-5 units @ 395.00/unit
6-infinity @ 285.00/unit

My gal has done all she can do to break the number, but corporate got wind of the deal and stuck a great big nail in the price . Reason given is that it would skew the net pricing sheet to one of their largest customers (Can you say Ford? ). I am attaching excerpts from her last two emails.

First let me apologize for the delay in getting back with
you. I had some personal things come up which drew me out of the office. I do apologize.

Okay- I spoke with the appropriate people and for your
manifolds- One manifold would cost $395.00 If you go with the group of 6 or more it would be $285.00 each. I am pretty sure that the larger the quantity that it would possibly go down even more. It is a pretty long process to do the manifolds, that is the reason for the pricing.

I will work with you to give you the best price that I can.
Not only on your manifolds but also on any other projects you might have. Let me know when you would like to come and tour our facility.

This one from last week:

I am so sorry!!!

I got pretty busy and thought I e-mailed you back but guess I did not. Anywayââ?¬Â¦the manifolds would be $285.00 each for minimum groups of 6. No ââ?¬â??they do not go down any further than that price. Well, I would guess if you had thousands of them they probably would. But for 20-40 that is their bottom line. I wish I could do better than that but my hands are tied to the corporate office!!

Take care,

So fellow CEG'rs if you are interested let me know, I have 2 lined up locally so the next 4 puts us into the 285.00/unit price. Depending on the numbers we will either line up a single production run or if high enough numbers we will set up a series of 6 unit lots. No rush, at this time the price is good with no deadline.

I skipped the last GB because there is no hard eveidence these increase HP.

Can I get some before and after Dyno #'s from people who particiapted in the first GB.

In your list please include whether its a 98 SVT UIM, 99+ SVT UIM, or a standard UIM and what your Mod list is.

Anybody measure with a micrometer what the before and after opening were? Please tell if its a 98 SVT UIM, 99+ SVT UIM, or a standard UIM.

If this is going down later this month, I will 100% surely be in. I'll take all the CFM gains as I can get at this point

Do a search for "EH UIM" and "Extrude Hone" in Group Buy and Duratech Performance, all that you ask about has been posted...I even posted my personal Dyno results with a list of my mods, type of dyno and before and after dyno numbers. This was just posted again a few days ago in the Extrude Hone interest thread. Measurments were also taken on three SVT manifolds after Extrude Hone was done to show the conistancy between all three. The gains in port size was also noted on all 3.

You may want to check and see if this is the same process that was done for us last summer by Rick Miller at Extrude Hone in Irwin, PA. It was a new process he developed to produce max flow of 193 cfm on ther duratech UIM. This is more then a double or tripple hone. Not sure if they are doing it at both facilities or not. Better be safe then sorry.

It should be but I will follow on it. I jumped on the other string earlier and posted there. My understanding is that all of the AFM processes are now dictated by the corporate engineering group. What I would like to do is combine these strings and set it up so that we can ship in quantities of 6 or more to the closest AFM production line. If the specs are standardized then we can minimize freight for all involved.

This may have been answered in the interest check but: "Is the 193cfm for the price of $285.00 (if 6 or more)? How long until we get the UIM back? Anyone know a ballpark guestimate of shipping costs for there and back?

I"m not sure which one of these threads is the Extrude Hone thread to post interest in because there are two, but I"m in as soon as I get a time frame. Plus, does anyone have an idea about what shipping my run? Thanks
