Ehhh, its not a competition. I honestly don't care how much money I make or if anyone knows what I make. All that I want is to be able to pay back all of my school loans without having to worry too much about surviving.
As longas you are happy with what you do then the amount of money you make should not matter.

That would kill me since I just graduated with my Masters from RPI which is an expensive school that I attended for 5.5 years so needless to say I have quite a bit of loans that I will be paying back.

Yeah DTI is a killer for a lot of people. What amazes me is that the industry standard is around 42%-45% for deciding a whether or not a person is granted a loan or not.
