Example: 76 year old man making $89,400 a year: 89.4/76 = 1.176. His ratio is 1.176

Its basically dependent on your age. Also, I am sure that most people with lower numbers won't post and there may also be those people that inflate their numbers a little.
I am fairly young, just finished my Masters and got a good job with Lockheed Martin so that is why my ration is fairly high.
