Ok, I guess I need to buy a SuperChip next. So where do I find the ECU and "code"? I thought buying chips was a hit or miss experience. I bought a SuperChip for my Toyota Supra Turbo and it worked great. But it was a custom burn and for a forced induction motor. Will these off the shelf chips expand a little. I hate to buy a generic chip and then get more mods done and have it choke.
I thought the chip would be one of the last things you do. I already have the KKM induction and a 2.5" free flowing exhaust set up. I thought the stock chips relied on stock parameters to work correctly. The chips expects so much air flow and exhaust restriction. If you alter those it won't be able to compensate. Am I wrong on this? I hear both good and bad things about the chips for the American Cars.

The code is on the computer, in big bold letters (not the little ones). The computer is above the passenger footwell, kind of tucked behind the carpet, and toward the right side of the car. I had to take mine out of the bracket, as the label was obscured.

Once you know your code, come back here and search the forum for that code. You may find someone else who has it, and they can tell you their experiences.

AFAIK, you should be fine on a stock chip with modest intake and exhaust mods that you list. If you plan to do more, I'd wait and get a custom burn. That's the advice I've heard/seen/read many times before.

For more info, search this forum for "superchip."
