the ip address given to you by the isp is trackable and the person whose name is on that contract is the one taking the risk. for examle: if you have internet because of your dorm or apartment or something then who ever is legally responsible for that is at risk. that is exaclty why i gave my roommate a choice when the law suits started...stop downloading music/movies or i will cancel the internet and you can get it in your name.
