No I understand that. I was more pointing to what I was willing to pay for. Artists who create their own music because it is beautiful or out of creative inspiration, not music that is created to sell. The pop music that is created so that music makers can make millions, not to create art. I am not saying rap or hip hop is bad; I do listen to it. Just the stuff that is on the charts is mostly crap, IMO, and I would never pay for that crap. I listen to pretty much any music as long as it is good. I just find it hard to find anything good because of all the pop crap that is thrown at us. As soon as big record companies get their hands on anything they turn the artist to crap in a lot of cases. In jazz for example, the companies don't make a lot of money on it so they don't invest the time into making the artist more marketable like they do pop music. That's just they way I see it, correct me if I am wrong; I have been know to be.
