What is everyones opinion on which is better. i know you can do more with a turbo for the contour but what do you all think about which is more reliable, easy to maintain, best for drag compaired to track etc.........

i didnt know much on this subject for a long time either....
ill give you a hint, you pay more for better product--our cars notwithstanding

(at least, this is according to my limited knowledge on the subject)

I think a NA low compression 3L in a well setup car is the way to go...


Who needs to rely on boost???

It's not that I don't have much knowledge on the subject because I have done lots of research. I just wanted to know what other people thought. Both the super and turbo chargers
have there advantages and disadvantages. I found a great site on the subject. Tell me what you think of the info on this link

obviously not for this platform. turbo is the only way. search through this forum and you will soon find out why.

its not the only way.... You can buy the tuner kit for $3100 from a shop in CA, www.superchargersonline.com its not on the site but they can get it.

Turbocharger is the only way to go...most reliable, streetable, and power potential for this application.

I already know that the turbo is the way to go for the contour application. I was just wondering what everyone thought in general. Tey both have advantages and disadvantages. take a look at this site it is the best one I have found on the subject.
