Spax was what all the Formula 1 teams used. Best I ever had!!
thanks for the info. Makes me feel better about buying spax adjustables instead of the koni's... I was pretty set on the Koni's but the guy at BAT (Eric?) said not only were they out of stock of the Koni's but also the spax were equal in spec. In fact maybe a tiny bit better since they had a larger range of adjustment. Obviously this is a new part for the CSVT so it was good to hear your input. I'll let you guys know how I like them...
Any known problem with Spax struts in general? I didn't check to see if they had a lifetime warranty so that kinda worries me. Please tell me asap if there is some reason why I should call up and change my order (I ordered just a few minutes ago).
Also I ordered upper strut mounts since everyone 'round here seems to feel they need replacement at 60K miles -- I'm at 50K but drive my car hard, BAT said more like 80K but as long as I'm in there I might want to replace them now.
Thoughts?
