I'm not much of a coffee snob. As much as I hate to say it, I relate to that new BK commercial for their coffee - straight up Joe, black. None of these frufru coffee drinks that may have some coffee in it. Then again, if I had an unlimited budget I'd be drinking Kona exclusively, but like I said, I'm not much of a coffee snob.

Kona, and JBM, I used to like. But now they seem too weak.

I mentioned Sumatra, but I like Guatamala Antigua, as well.

As for extraction methods, again, I mentioned espresso, but a good press runs a close second. Most drippers are about the same (it's the grind, man!) as long as they have a mesh filter (paper removes too much of the essence.)

I've tried "Turkish" or "Middle Eastern" style coffees. While a bold experience worth trying, it's not something I'd adopt for every day.

I admit to liking a good cup of coffee myself, but have never gotten into a French press. I guess it's a matter of preference, but I prefer the drip process myself.

I go Caribou blend, except for Raindeer in the holiday season.

... and their cinnamon hoof mints are addictive as well
(that is when I'm not foisting them on people... as Spring Zingers should remember )

I like cappacinos and stuff, but only like regular coffee when I'm drunk and it's sobering up time.

For non-fresh coffee I used to drink the bottled Starbuck's F(C)rappachino's on occasion... crappy coffee but it was easy and got me buzzed. Since their profits help micro$oft, I don't purchase their product anymore.... plus I prefer fresh, roasted in small batches.
Where I live there are two coffee roasters. One named "Thanksgiving" and the other named "Big River Coffee". They both make pretty good products. No true preference to any particular flavor, as long as it's rich. The only problem is coffee tends to give me heartburn so I don't drink it as often as I'd like

I don't care for any 'instant' or canned coffee... most are stale and either too bitter or too weak for my taste. Plus they don't taste real.

Tarrazu; run a search on it. A number of Costa Rican brands (Cafe Brit being one of them) get beans from the region, but the region itself produces some of the finest coffee I've run through our coffee pots.

I've had espresso beans, light and dark roast beans from that region and nothing else compares in my mind.

I usually buy Cafe Volio if one was to make me mention a brand, due to the quality and price. Cafe Brit is overpriced (damn fine coffee, but overpriced) and other brands are priced at boutique levels or they mix lowland beans in with the Tarrazu beans, which is a big pisser to me.

Here in the states I chug the Starbucks Mocha Frapuchinos a couple mornings a week.

In Japan I chugged cold canned coffee straight and thick like molasses. (it was sweet too)
I started drinking coffee over there. I not a fan of hot coffee.

Cold coffee with Bailey's is really good too...
