Thats terrible man. I probaly go crazy if someone did that 2 me. You put all this money on a car and some jealous people want to rip people off.  If I was you ill bring that cd boombox. Thats a long drive. Good luck.

I should be saying that you right now. You got it worse than I did. My car was gone and insurance gave me at least some of the money for it. You're not getting anything. Good luck dude.
That reminds me of something too. The week my car was stolen, I went to look for some of the parts that were on it. I knew the cops were totally useless and weren't doing a thing about it.
I took a ride to one of the worst parts of the ghetto in the north end of Hartford, CT. I drove by the address where my car was found sitting flat on the ground with no wheels.
What do you know, a Civic, sitting there with my indentical Konig Verdicts and tires on it. Coincidence right?? lol I called the cops and had them check it out and they said if I had a way to prove they were mine then I can get them back. So of course I had pictures of the car and my receipt for the rims and tires. 
Also about 4-5 months later, a CRX drove into the Burger King next to my job. I was looking at it and what do you know, it had my wing and muffler on it. Yes I know there is so many like it out there, but I had my ways of checking to make sure it was mine. But I let them go. I knew after that much time had passed the cops wouldn't do sh*t to help me.

Car alarms suck... but! if you invest a lil bit of money and time into your sub-par alarms there will be more of a chance all your stuff well be left in your ride! For example, my alarm setup consists of viper 791 w/ 2 way pager! if the pager doesn't wake me up, i took it a step further as i also have a battery backup powered six tone siren under the hood, two 140DB piezo (sp?) sirens inside the car and my fog lights and interior lights come on while it's going off... So even if they cut the battery wires.. i have 3 loud a$$ sirens going off for up to 7hrs? can't remember how long the battery lasts...
