My car was broken into when I was on leave last week  , it's like trashed... i lost my head unit new sony xplod 500.00 alone, my system, my cd's, broke my driverside window, the dashboard was ripped off, the ac dash is broke, my gearshaft was bent to the right from them yanking my dash out, ripped my seat covers, broke my taillight... im hurtin bad, and since i've been in some finacial problems, i have dropped to liabilty only 2 months ago!!!!!!! so NOTHING IS COVERED!!!!!! i am soooo screwed.... only my luck. Now i got a body kit on my car, unpainted, one window w/ no tint... my car is SO ghetto right now...

F-ing [censored], can't go get their own shyt so they gotta go screw up someone else who really couldn't afford it. They shall pay. One thing I found useful is to not jam my radio loud when entering neighborhoods or malls/bad areas of town.
It helps because nobody get's immediately alerted that you have a sound system. My old G20 was broken into, and I found it sitting on the brake rotors with the 19's gone, plus the entire system and my CD'salso gone. What had hurt the most was the fact that my CD collection had been a 3-year investment.
Until today I still have not replaced half of them...

I thought I lost mine, so now they stay in my apartment and I take an iPod, it's worth a lot less than the CDs.
-Sucks, man. That's really rough. %#@* kids will probably end up in jail some day, if that's any consolation. but it was just stuff, worse can happen - gotta keep in mind you could have been carjacked/shot, etc.

yeah, but u would think that sum people would have a little respect for the military. dam like bein a f***** marine ain't stressful enough, all the civilians around us seem to just hate us

You know, I noted that in the Military you have a lot of un-educated people. These people then have kids who run the streets of the bases and cause lots of problems.
So I guess you need to be looking at the dependants on the base as the most liekly culprits.

Assuming he was parked on base, sure..
If he lives in town with BAH then he could have the car at his apartment while on leave..

it was off base actually... then when sumone had seen it broken into, for like 2-3 days, then sumone was retarded and reported it "abandoned", so the cops towed it and i had to pay for that too!!!!!
