117,000 miles and had a hiccup a couple of months ago. However, a little rocking and Ross is still rolling on the original starter.

120K miles...95SE...original starter

I love my Contour to death, but my 'vette is still my #1 baby.
There's money to be made in racing. I should know. I put a lot of it there.
You can make a small fortune in racing. Start with a large one.
How fast do you want to go...how much money do you have?

i had something similar happen a couple yrs ago to my taurusaurus....i went to pep boys to buy a pos battery cable and was gonna install it in the parking as all good mechanics do laugh ...my box end wrench made contact with the solenoid and started sparking and cranking the engine...i ran to pull the key outta the ignition and realized the key was in my pocket....only way to get the wrench lose was to open a can of woop ass and karate kick the wrench off the bolt.....hiiiyaaaaa!!!! there went the wrench....and a bolt that sheared off the solenoid mad ...needless to say pepboys kept my car that nite

with my contour the starter has yet to go out but it is on my list of replacement parts as the car goes under renovation

95 contour se...dark blue...monsterflow air filter...remanuf atx...wiring harness recall or bust!!!96k miles...motorcraft awsf32pp plugs & red ford racing 9mm wires...kvr black plated cross-drilled rotors & carbon fiber pads...currently undergoing renovation...excuse our dust!!!
are my dodgers for real????
