That's bitchin! I'd love something like that, though I'd be pretty concerned about signal degradation in bad weather. Then again, if they claim 8-10 miles, it shouldn't be a problem at 1/4 mile for you.
I've got a B network in my house, I don't see a need for a G upgrade since I'm not streaming anything from one computer to another, just sharing a 'net connection.
