I had a shoshop ypipe w/cat, 2.5" tubing, 12" long muffler in the middler (where the res used to be) and no rear mufflers. Sounded awesome! It had some serious bark after 4K! I have a few sound clips of that setup if anyone would like hear. I have since added my headers and two magnaflows to the rear. I added the magnaflows on before I put the headers on because I feared the headers would make the car unacceptably loud. 2000 Silver SVT #1602 Check it out in the registry! Mi Coche

HoosierContour Member H Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 316 Indiana University	I got rid of my drone and rasp with the Dynomax Ultraflo 17230 from Summit $69.95 - $25 rebate, from DemonSVT's advice. The Muffler is a Dynomax 17733, Super Turbo, ahem, not straight thru, but no rasp/drone either. Maybe the combo helps. See sig for the entire exhaust. It doesn't get any more free without rasp. 98 T-Red Contour LX V6 Mtx 106k miles 9" K&N, Aussie Pipe, Dual Mode Damper, 19lb. injectors, SHM MAFterburner, Ford 9mm Wires, Mystery Mod, ShoShop Off-road Y pipe, Dynomax Resonator and Muffler, 2.5" custom cat-back.
