I agree 100%, go with the seventeens. 17!
17's fo-sho! 225/45/17 gives a little bit more sidewall without sacrificing handling. Also fills in that wheel gap a little more.
Not sure why Demon thinks 18's are ugly. I would have gone with 18's if I could have found a reasonably priced set of lightweight wheels. Also, I didn't want to sacrifice sidewall when drag racing on the str....... track. So I went with a 16.7lb black 17" wheel.

Why do you think 17 is better than 18 or why do you think 18 is better than 17. I am still having problems choosing more pics with rim size plz

I think 17's are better for ride quality, price of tires, less damage due to potholes, AND aesthetics. Bigger isn't necessarily always better. Seventeens on a Contour are just plain more versatile. That's my two cents.

Yup. If you really want to go fast, get 16s, or light 17s for 200+ crank hp. 18s may look killer, but they're just not as good, technically speaking. Unless you have some new suspension no one has seen, that much lower profile tire won't help at all.
