I have access to the print of the rod and that is where my dimensions came from. Where are your "actual Ford factory specs" from? Again, the 2.5L and 3.0L use the same rod. The wrist pin diameter is the same between the two. Only difference is that the 3.0L wrist pin is longer.
That sounds right to me. From what I know the Stroke is the same on the 2.5 and 3L Duratechs. The bore varies and hence the rod length is larger on the 3L pistons to suit the 3L pistons.
