Mazda's ACC still doesn't shut off the compressor. With ACC on (and mine always is) the compressor runs 100% of the time. You can choose to recirculate the air though.

I don't agree entirely. My Volvo has way more gizmos than my Contour had and a lot of them I could do without. -Dual Zone Automatic climate control -Power seats (with memory!) -Traction control -power antenna
Gotta keep the sunroof and the leather seats tho

Sounds like a sweet ride and a good deal! Those cars are fun, I remember when I was a lotboy at a chevrolet dealer we had one that the detailers didnt do a very good job on. There was a bunch of weed stashed in the console when i took it for a spin
btw, I think that is the best color i've seen them come in! You should tint the windows to make it look Thats really low miles for a 96!

Get a pulley for it (which CAN be a [censored] to install) and also make up the intake for it a la www.grandprix.netAlso lookinto making a nice flowing yet quiet exhaust for it and you'll be shocking a lot of drivers out there.

The tool to install the pulley costs more than the pully itself. Goto clubgp.com and see if there are any GTP onwers in your area that already purchased the tool that could rent the tool off of.

A regular pulley puyller will NOT work, it will just destroy the pulley while leaving it on the snout. Trust me I know! You need the tool they sell or use a hydraulic ram with a c-slot backing plate to get as much contact on the backside of the pulley as possible. We had to use the ram as the pulley on my buddy's GTP was REALLY on there.
