I appreciate all the responses on tires, I even got stuck on a hill (almost, took some work though) and have tried to imagine my son trying to drive with these tires to school with some snow on the roads and it gives me the chills (no pun intended). The tire rack has a lot of info and I'm in the research mode right now. I was surprised about studded tires in PA, I'll have to look into that because I was almost positive they were banned when I was younger. It's possible they brought it back though due to no proof that they damaged the roads.
