continental contiextremes dont do so bad in the snow. i havent had any problems getting around with the white stuff on the ground, but then again im usually fairly cautious. never spun or gotten stuck either (knock on wood). in the rain the are great, and in the dry they are OK. could be better, but not horrible. if you auto-x any amount you are going to shred them. fairly cheap too. not a bad all around tire if you arent looking for maximum dry traction. treadwear seems to be pretty good as well.
