A while back, J-Lab left some posts about making something that will get rid of the speed limiter, without a chip, and without "loosing" the speedo. I tried messaging him, but he doesnt answer... Does anyone know what ever came of this??? -Nick

Yea it's me who found the way to do it... He's going to do it today, and he will give me the detail about it during the week-end...
Send me an e-mail at jubilo@sympatico.ca so I will not forget to tell you.
The mod will give you about 15-20 HP more, no speed limiter and you will have to use octane 92.
The cost is 160 can + TX.

My ford dealer is a performance dealer, and when I got my new 9mm cable from them, the guy started to talk about contour mods, and he told me about this, and that not a lot of dealer knows about, He can reprogram the computer to be exacly like the SVT, and this will give me more than 15HP, and also remove the speed limiter...
Jeff was suppose to do it today, but He didn't have time, so I'll try to do it next week...

hmm... something doesnt sound right about this. Doesnt the SVT have different compression, which might be one reason that the 2 programs would be incompatable?? I am sure there are other reasons why this wont work, but I am always open to be proved wrong... Any input on this??

Vince. You have just completed all of your college courses. He has handed you several degrees. The first is your BS (male cattle manure). The second is your MS (more of the same). The third is your PhD (pilled higher and deeper). Fifteen more HP with just the changes in the CPU without the hardware changes? No cams, no larger throttle body, no extrude honed intakes, no higher compression pistons, no dual exhaust. Ask him what he's smoking.

I just wish to know how to bypass the speed governor. Not that my car will go any faster than 170kph right know.....grumble grumble stupid HP loss....

get the chip.. or a piggy back comp, thats the only way.
