it will fit but you have to cut off some plastic mounting brackets on the sides.

I think the exhaust looks tight! Would look truly amazing with an SVT bodykit! Damn turbo would be sweet. Keep up the good work!

I hope I wasnt too harsh. I agree, cars are always a work in progress. Sounds like you've got some good things on the way, keep it up.

Its all good Andy. I try not to let anyones opinions bother me cause it is after all my car and my taste in what I am doing to it. No offense intended by that either. I have good plans for her and when it is done I will show what it looks like and it WILL look better! I have rims for her and a wing for her. I also have a custom set of layovers being made for the dash and HVAC with intelglow needles. A SVT body kit is in the plans as well as a custom paint job utilizing the origal midnight red color. I plan on adding a sun roof, tint the windows, thinking about the rear window shade from over seas, lowering the car, Rebuilding my spare tranny, going with a custom turbo setup, possibly 3L conversion unsure yet with turbo, a new chip, I have alot planed but like all of us in the real world it is a b*tch to get it all done when you want. Thanks for the replies they have been encouraging and motivating. OH when is the next MN Contour meet? Hopefully when the weather gets nicer.

Tony

I'd bring Brad and compare notes from the old days as well... if non-Contours are welcome.

That spring meet might be something to think about...It should start to warm up pretty soon (I hope). We had a small meet in Winona last fall that was a blast. There were some fun roads to go tooling around on. If thats too far, Doug and I found some pretty awesome twisties between Wabasha and some town off of Hwy 52. But it will have to wait until it warms up and I can wash my vehicle.
Elmers, sounds like you have some big things planned, I cant wait to see the finished product.

Tony, I also think the exhaust looks big. Although everything you are going to do sounds really cool. I tell ya, I drive around and I look at some of these cars and I think "holy cow that is the gayest thing I've ever seen," then I look at the driver and make a funny face or something and then I think "they think they are cool as sh*t" then I think about myself and I think "wow when I drive my svt contour I'm cool as sh*t, this car is hot" and those other drivers look at me and make a funny face and they think "holy cow that is the gayest car I've ever seen" so really it's all how you look at it. When you're done you'll be really proud and it's everything you did & wanted to do. It'll be sweet, reguardless of the guy next to you making a funny face lol. Just thought I'd give you a little incouragement. Hope it helped. Plus being a single dad is hard too but it's all worth it. -Denise
