Nope, the tires I took off only had around 6000 mi on them, so they still had a bunch of tread on them. But that is a good point, as I've noticed the difference in ride quality going from bald to new tires. Yes, these wheels are lighter by about 4 lbs apiece (~16.2 vs. 20.5), so in theory they should "spin-up" faster. I'm just not sure if what I'm thinking I feel is real, or just me thinking it's accelerating faster because it "should" with lighter wheels.  Marty
