I suppose something custom could be made with a welder and an extra stock shifter, now I have another project to try:) ATX MTX swap, rear drum disc swap, drilled rotors, ported intake, optim throttle body, CAI, 7.5L MAF, adj. fuel regulator, longtube headers, underdrive pulley, no EGR, low inpedence bigger injectors, 2002 Focus Swap

I don't think it hurts anything (of course someone who feels ripped off after buying one will say that it will damage your car.) You could always ask Ford, I don't think they make a short shifter for the MTX-75 so they probably won't lie. 98.5 SVT FOR SALE $5000
