I find that court decision to be rather..sexist against the man in particular. Not my fight, but if it were..   I wouldn't know how to relate to my child, except try to spend as much time with the kid so they didn't think I hate them for not "wanting" them. In conclusion, I can relate to what the man feels as I would feel the same under the circumstances. I feel worse for the kid..

The state forces responsibility. Even if a guy finds out it's not his children, only a handful of states allow that man to discontinue support because the laws state that someone has to support the child, even if it's NOT the childs biological father.

Prenup is the only way to go anymore. I'm madly in love with a stable, beautiful and fulfilling wife of 4 years (known her for 10 now) but if I ever had to do it again and from a pure risk perspective (divorce rates are what now? 50%+?), it's really the only sane way to approach a marriage...

Prenup has no bearing on child support, only on the splitting of assets and alimony.

There certainly needs to be a better means of handling child support. A better check is needed on the custodial parent's use of the child support money to actually support the child.
