I have had several garages, and midas tell me that to have the resonator on my 98 se sport replaced with exaust pipe will cost me 60 to 70 dollars. I have read many posts stating that I should pay no more than 20-35 dollars... confused did that figure not include labor? help me out guys, thanx.

Hey ,
I live in Florida and i was going around askind what it would cost as well , everyone told me 50.00....i took it to a Mexican and when he was done with my car he said 50.00 ..i said WHAT..NO WAY.... i said i will give you 30.00 ..he said ..OK....
best advice is to take it to a small shop "not midas" and have them do the work ..when they ask for 50.00-70.00 say WTF ..**** i only got 30.00 on me ....is that good ?

Only way to do it man :p laugh laugh

cost me $20...(i checked with 4 other shops afterwards all 20 bucks)I suggest if you are going to lose the res to buy a higflow res to replace it..the rasp present when everyhting is cold can be very annoying. Some other people have been happy with putting a magnaflow in the res spot and having pipe run to the back. someone has ssuggested to me that i buy a magnaflow single in, dual out, put that in the res spot, run new 2.5 inch pipe all over and out the back.....i am still trying to figure out what i am going to do.

i know 2 things for sure...I AM GOING TO THE NATIONAL MEET AND BUYING RAFFLE TICKETS TO WIN COOL PRIZES!!!!
