I've ordered Ford performance 9mm cables, Its cheaper compare to the original ones, and a lot better!(think you can get the set for 49.00$US)
With taxes it came at 103.00$CANADIAN...
I've used platinium4 bosh plugs also...
Man! It looks like 30 HP more!

Vincent - have you ever cleaned out your IM or is this the first time? Those pics are amazing! How nasty eek Also, have you ever used TB cleaner on the TB and IM? I try to do that regularly, in hopes that I don't have to take the manifolds off too often.

So what is worse than cleaning the UIM?

Answer: Cleaning two of them! My buddy and I got together and did both our cars. Nice to have it clean, and the second one went a lot quicker. Took about 6 hours in all, which included some errand running and changing the plugs in an Integra.

It's the firts time I do it, and I never used TB cleaner with my car...
It's not a big job, so I just have to do the clean-up every year...

I'd advise that you don't re use the old gaskets...not wise at all,for all the work involved why spoil it with an air leak...always use new gaskets...whatever you remove/replace...

Go ahead and reuse the gaskets, unless the rubber seals are cracked or damaged. We have pulled manifolds at least 4 times in 60k miles before needing new ones. And I suspect its because we overtorqued...

Clean, reuse, and watch the torque. If you do have an air leak or suspect one, removing the manifolds takes less than 30 min.

I believe the gaskets were at least 15$ canadian each.
