Hi everyone, this is my first post here!

I'm most likely going to be scooping up an SVT Contour in the following few months, which I promise to take outstanding care of!

I am just starting to look now, but have always had a passion for these cars. I am currently 19, but can recall when I was in grade 7 and 8 drawing countless pictures of the car I dreamed of having. I am really stoked to finally be in the market for one!

I am currently driving a 95 Caddy STS, and call caddyinfo.com my homebase, so it is great to see a similar forum for Contours as well. My family has to have a Ford in the family for my dad's new business, so my current baby has to go! lol No more driving to Led Zep. as my theme song, I suppose.

Anyway, like I said, I am really stoked to finally be getting an SVT Contour, and become part of this great CEG community.

Now I only have to find one that is just right! lol

Welcome, SVT Scott. I for one like those old STS's a lot, and there's nothing wrong with using Zep as your theme song

Hell yeah! Anyways, welcome Scott. You'll love the CSVT and CEG too. Spring Zing (an anualy CEG meet) will be held in May (check th eSZ thread). Hope you can make it, its a very big meet! I had a 98.5 torredor red csvt, sold it a year ago.... now I'm buying another next month. I really like the SVT, and I'm sure you will, too.

Hey, that's funny, in a few years I plan on changing from a CSVT to a Caddy...An STS-V, that is. BTW, did I mention by a few years, I mean a few dog years?

Hey thanks for warm welcome guys!

I would say the T-red or Forest green to be my first pick for colour, followed by silver, and black last (I think black makes the CSVTs just look to generic). Definely tan interior though, I'm not a fan of the midnight blue at all!

There seems to be an abundance of them in the Detroit area, but the pickings are pretty slim across the river here in Canada. Most likely I'll pick one up State side.

Thanks again,

Scott

Hey welcome, I got a black csvt with the tan interior and love it! With a few mods done to it. You'll love yours too. Good Luck.

I agree that they are hard to find in Eastern Canada. Here in BC there's one for sale almost every month.

Here are some. (That Calgary one looks good, and that Price!)
