I will be one of the reasons companies will be making after market parts for our cars. I talk with much enthusiasm about my car and this sight, and how its so great to companies all over the country just about every day. How do you think i got "hooked" up with custom axles and hubs or the wagner intake manifold or the turbo kit. I don't pay anything near what you guys do for the same parts. I have alot of ideas and talk to companies who are interested in custom parts for our cars. I am going to get a company to make me custom grind cams and see what works. This will all benifit you guys in the future. I am doing this honestly because I won't settle for less. In the end you guys should thank me. Stop ripping on me. I even got a sponsorship offer for this post. Lay off and learn to play your cards right!

512 posts in 2 months about this project SVT that you haven't really proven, isn't impressing me either. I'll be impressed if/when it gets done, don't get me wrong. I can't say whether you're actually having this work done, or you're pulling our legs. It'd just be nice to see some pictures of the progress, I mean, while you're taking pictures of your broken window and all, I thought you might show us all the custom parts that you've managed to have made too  Mark

Since you had to come out and say this, I think I will retort to it.
The only reason you have gotten X parts is because you are paying for it. IMO, 1700 for axles is completely stupid. A reputable company that makes aftermarket axles for numerous cars has not perfected our platforms axles as of yet, so why do you think your 1700 axles are going to be special?
Secondly, because you have the money (or stupidity I haven't figured that out yet) to shell out thousands upon thousands of dollars, does not mean that there is going to be market for these parts after you. Look at the small number of Turbo'd cars running around right now on our specific platform. You can probably count them on both of your hands. Additionally, this board has a hard time putting together Group Buys for parts that cost LESS than $100, so now you think the market is going to boom for a car that has been out of production for 5 years and are mainly driven my college students who can't afford anything else? (No disprect, just most likely a fact)
For what I've seen of you on your board, my impression of you is that you live at home and mommy and daddy have some bucks and get you whatever you want. You know barely anything about what is going on. The only reason you possibly are going to have a car of its caliber isn't because you know 'how to play your cards' but because you know how to pay someone to give you want you want.
People are not going to 'respect' you because can pay someone to make you parts and put together a car for you. People are going to respect you because you've earned it one way or another.

How you got hooked up? There's already a turbo kit that is superior to the ITS kit that you're buying. Custom hubs? Hasn't Rick already told us that he's had custom hubs? And the Wagner Intake had nothing to do with your "talking to companies". I really don't understand what you're talking about. But if you want me to "lay off and learn to play my cards right"?????, then I'll wait until you get the car done.. Just don't think that you're the first person to come onto this site with huge claims of monster HP #'s and custom parts.. As you've noticed, the people on this site want proof, which is worth way more than words..

A picture is worth a 1000 words..... I believe you typed more than a 1000 words defending yourself. If this is all true stuff your saying about Hondas favorite little mag, "Sport Compact", and this "magic" goes down and the Contour is revived through APC and I can buy colorful pedals, accel caps and wires, custom mesh grills, color matched foam covered sterring wheels, alteza lights, fart cans, and "Type SVT" badges from pepboys... you'll get a handshake from me.   Ofcourse, we all thought you were full of it with the break in... and you weren't. Sorry that happened. If you turn out a 500hp tour and make it on every cover of every sport magazine.. well, then.... we will all bow down. , seriously.

Don't think you're the first, and you definitely won't be the last, to come on here with wild claims and nothing to back it up. You proved your stance on the broken window thread, albeit with a little bit of pushing, but I saw nothing in that car other than some HVAC overlays and an aluminum shift knob that would constitute your modifications to this car of yours. We really needed help getting aftermarket parts like that from you to make the Contour popular. What're you gonna make popular next? I hear shag carpet is real popular for the seats and dashboard. They add horsepower to the interior too. And I'd love it if you patent some new blinker fluid. Mine goes bad after six weeks. 
Mark already touched on points I had considered making earlier, so there really is no need to repeat them again. Though for the sake of pounding this information through the 6" thick skull of yours, I might have to come back and do that after lunch. 
Now if you'll excuse me, your buddy next door just got his aluminum wing installed on his Honda Civic. My friends and I are all gonna go have a circle jerk on his hood to celebrate.
