Does anyone know how long, and what method is best for getting from LAX to the Amtrak station in Los Angeles? I will be there around noonish and on a Saturday. Thanks for anything in advance guys.

Take a taxi but would cost you about $40 to get there. A Bus? It would take you forever to get there but yes cost about $5-$6 to get there.

look online. check MTA or metrolink http://www.mta.net/ they have a trip planner on their website. i believe there is a metrolink station or subway that is in front of LAX which will then go directly to Union Station, which is what i assume you are referring to when you say Amtrack station. $40 for a cab if youre lucky, that's all im saying. cabs in LA arent cheap. $40 will probably get you to the other side of the airport.

Look into a Shuttle.
Call LAX and ask them about transportation option to get where your going. More than likely there is a shuttle service fro a nominal fee like $10- $15 offered.

DUDE, if they have a flyaway shuttle that goes to Union Station youre in business! they have one that goes from the Valley (where i live) to LAX which is more than double that distance and its only about $5 for a round trip!
ill see if i can dig up anything on that flyaway shuttle thingy. check LAXs website, if they have one, which im sure they do.
ok found it. Metropolitan Express bus goes straight to Union Station! heres the link http://www.lawa.org/lax/schBuses.cfm
