I have been present when Kaiser's Apex-I was on the Dyno and I can tell you that the key is gradual adjustments. No earth-shattering changes. Start from zero (stock setting) and play with the powerband. You should probably expect to have to spend a few good hours on the dyno to get it just right.
I will be quick to snatch this item. Tell me, is this a physically obvious mod? In other words, can it be hidden as to be transparent to the dealer? A question for us "Still Warrenteed" guys!!![/b]The SAFC is a bit different than a tuner. There aren't near as many adjustments increments with it and not near the functionality. But I guess your right to say make small adjustments! It would at the very least keep you from making detrimental mistakes!
Also these are adjusted by either laptop or desktop computer. They come with a power adapter so you can even unplug them and use a desktop computer to load the program.
If I understand correctly this would even allow us to share custom programs freely! Now this is VERY COOL! Especially for those of us who don't have the knowledge just yet to do our own mappings!
Thanks for the heads up Jason, this is exactly why I have held off on purchasing a SAFC, eManage, or Mafterburner!
