Knowing me, I would have probably gotten my ass kicked by calling the giant man a [censored] or seomthing equally stupid. I would have loved to see my brothers reaction in a similar circumstance. I already know what it would be, guy gets hit, without hesitation Mark lands a couple of punches to the back of the head and knee to the kidneys and everyone would watch the big man crumble....then prepare for the hard part, removing him from the guy...My brother is 6'2" 220 and I am confident he would destroy this guy. I have seen him take out substantially bigger and more athletic looking people (including one of those "tough man" competitors). Me on the otherhand, I am 6'3" 225 and would get my ass seriously hurt.

Jato, I have seen both sides of the scenario you described. My sisters former boyfriend was a martial arts instructor, he was 5'4" and weighed about 135-140 and I know he could have kicked some ass if necessary. Now, I also worked with a kickboxer for a short time who was 5'8" 215 and build like a tank but hid his muscle mass as best he could. I personally witnessed him taking out 4 guys close to this guys size. After taking a similar sucker punch, he turned his back, took off his coat and said (I remember this clear as day) "If that is the best you got, I'll give you a chance to leave, son." He and his friends laughed but not for long. The other circumstance I witnessed at a bar in canada was the martial artist who got into it with a offensive lineman type guy (didn't know either). Little guy caused some havoc for 15 seconds or so, then unfortunately for him, he made the mistake of getting close. Once that guy got a grip, it got real real messy for little karate guy, he was pummelled to the point where I think he might of been unconscious for a majority of the fight. Martial arts can be very effective, but there comes a point where this is no replacement for displacement.
