I just finished installing a honed UIM and new 60 MM throttle body and used SVT airbox on my 96 SE V-6. The honed manifold plus the cleaning I gave to the lower manifold made a noticeable performance difference. I used my original 54 MM TB. for a few weeks before I installed the SVT equipment.I was disappointed in the sound of the SVT air box, it sounded like the stock Duratec setup. I removed the fender to airbox adapter (Hose) and now it sounds good and seems to perform better when you get on it.
One tip I'll pass along is if you do a cleaning to the intakes and the mileage/age of car dictates, now is the time to change the water hose from the water pump to the engine block. The hose wasn't in stock at one dealer and is expensive, so I would order one from Bill or the other CEG dealers ahead of time because it looks hard to reinstall a new one with the UIM in the way.
