Has anyone ever though about or tried to put projectors where the turn signals are and put some kind of amber LED where the orange reflector is? I think the Mazda 6 is similar. They are projector fogs that are aimed down. Would they fit? Pics? Ideas? This sounds like a sweet project!

Neat idea... don't know if they fit. POSSIBLY.. if you modified the fog lights from a new body style bravada or Lacrosse (since they are SUPER TINY) or the projectors from a the MK4 Jetta fog lights. They are really small, too. (Thornie's voice from Super Troopers) DOoooo IIiiiitt!

On the pre-98 they will run into the car's structure, right where the radiator support mounts up. You could probably trim it some (especially if you strengthened it nearby) but I didnt want to get that indepth with mine.
Fog lights as headlights are a bad idea.

Fog light talk came from my idea of using the fogs from above said vehicles because of their SMALL diameter. THat, anyone of those projectors used for fogs would fit in there.... more likly, a post 98. The factory projecor for my fog light in my Jetta measures only 1-7/8" wide. You could easily fit that inthe spot where the turn signal bulb is. Not sure how purposeful it would be (example: amount of work= results.) It might look a littel funny, like the headlight has a pimple or something.

If you put another headlight in the signal bulb spot, would you run 2 low beams at a time? Or 2 high beams? I guess it might look neat but I'm not sure how practical it would be.

IT would still be a turnsignal. He wants to put a projector where the turn signal bulb is.. much like the mazda 6 sort of has. I know what he's thinking, and I think it would look pretty sweet.. done correctly.

I was thinking about something like these but as LilRedRocket said they would have to be smaller: From the outside in: fog projectors, turn signals, low beam projectors, and high beams. On ours we wouldnt have the turn signal of course but I was thinking that a small amber LED could fit where the orange reflector is and stand as the blinker

Oh.. okay I see. Hmmm.. I dunno, theres not all that much room in there... but shoot, give it a shot. Theres nothing cooler than being difrent. If it worked, they'd deffeintly be snazzy. You'd have to put projectors in the highs and lows too.
