Mine likes to uh, per say "hum" at higher intensity at immediate power on and when I go to shut it down..otherwise, it's quiet(er) during gameplay. The thing's going on..3 years old.
Replacement time soon?
It struggled for the last two years. It survived multiple moves and a roomie's peeing cat, so I guess I got off lucky.
I will be replacing mine early this coming week, as soon as my tax refund hit my back account.
