somebody please tell me they have the multiple view options that GT3 lacked! i HATED it when they only offered two in GT3! I also didnt like how fuggin difficult it was to get going in that version. the damned cars were SOOOoo expensive and it took FOREVER to gain some cash to get some decent cars going. I bought my PS2specifically for GT3 and played it for a few weeks before i just got disgusted with it.

now keep in mind, i rocked GT2 like there was no tomorrow. I just found GT3 too much of a pain in the ass to deal with. didnt care for the music either. music was better in GT2 imo.

so, someone please answer:
1. are there multiple views like in GT2?
2. are the cars decently priced in this version?

ps Pimpolicious, dont even sweat it. GT is, imo, even easier to drive the cars than NFS cuz it's like the real thing, like everyone said. the NFS series are just plain silly the way the cars handled.

agreed. picked it up yesterday about 6pm after work. i love the game. got even more enjoyable once i realized the right analog stick controls throttle and brake. i was frustrated that i couldn't use half throttle with the button, then hit the analog and i love it. geat game!

the beauty of the previous 2 versions was the used car alley. that is something i miss in GT3.

because i haven't played the previous games, i don't know if this is what you are talking about, but there are places to go to purchase used vehicles (from what i remember...it was late and i was tired )

My copy is on the UPS delivery truck as I type this. Unfortunately I have a group project due tomorrow that I cannot neglect, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow night to fire it up.

Played around with it for about an hour last night. Just started from scratch, didn't transfer GT3 money/licenses. Am running a lightly-modified used '90 Supra with 301hp. Wish I could figure out why the damn thing is plowing like it was FWD though. Can't oversteer for the life of me.

Overall, it's good. But not hugely different than GT3 -- which is the consensus of every review out there. AI is still as bad as ever. Graphics are great in replays, but when just racing I'm not noticing a significant difference over GT3 except for the specular lighting effects at night. But so far I've just raced old GT3 tracks, so perhaps there are some more that are more optimized for GT4.
