You don't all of the available cars at once, the purchasable car list apparently grows as you get further along in the game. So I don't have a list of what made it or what didn't.

is there any clean way of getting cars from save PS1 cards onto a PS2 card for use in GT3?
For Sale:

The PS1 saves don't transfer into GT3...
The GT3 save can be used to update your GT4 status. You can transfer your B & A licenses and up to 100,000 credits.
Also, a word of warning. There is an autosave feature that can be turned off, however, even if you have it turned off and decide to buy another car just to check it out... it saves automatically after buying a car. So you can't just buy a car and reset if you don't like it.
