I am looking to change the interior lighting colors and was curious as to who has done this? I have seen multiple pictures floating around the forum but I can't for the life of me find them. So I was curious as to a few things. - If you've done this what MCD rating LED did you use? - Are there any place in the car where resistors are NOT needed for the leds? (Such as a place where the voltage is already regulated.) - Pictures please.

All of the LED upgrades (window/ lock witches) look good except for the dash gauges. I would stay away from that, if you are looking for an alternative, there is a GB right now going on for the SVT indiglows... If you have a non svt, you can find gauges all over the internet. Also talk with Auiotour, He is CEG's LED GURU... His site.

Why do the gauges not look good? Do they have a green film layer which gives it the green color?

Here's an example of how they turn out...
I'm sure with enough time and money they could be done right and look good. But i still haven't seen it. Just jump in on the SVT indiglow GB. This doesnt come around too often.

That cluster looks familiar I'm going to be putting in indiglos which will eliminate the dim number readout problem, but I'm also going to try brighter LEDs. IIRC those are 4-LED bulbs, and I'm going to try some with higher LED counts, including some wide-angle bulbs.

The only thing you have to do for the svt gauges is find a regular v6 contour, and take the needles out of that, becuz they are clear. The svt needles are obviously red. Once you've gotten the clear needles, the LED's look sweet.
Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.

And if I don't care about the needles are the SVT gauges white as is? What about resistors, are they needed for the gauges or is the voltage regulated to the cluster?
