Just something to think about, exactly how does your PCM know what load your engine is running at if you are tricking the PCM to think you are still using a stock maf?
Also, look for a maf that will read accurate for the amout of CFM you plan on pulling. The Ford 80 mm and 90 mm are among the best curves I have seen, but I have yet to see them all. Rara what is your opinion on this subject?

The biggest limitation and compromise of MAF trickery (whether it is Optimizer, S-AFC, MAFturburner, or whatever). MAF voltage is used in the load calculations, and load is used to determine proper spark timing. A good article explaining the relationship (from a Mustang site): Read Me!

Still no reply from Muscle Motors, I have emailed them 3 times now once each day to see what I have to do. I don't want to just send it back to them without them authorizing it because then it may just sit on some shelf. I am getting pissed!!

Why does everyone keep buying these things, not worth it, just like UDPs, if they do anything at all, it's not much

Did you guys even rear RARA's post about the pro-m? These things are no good....and can cause engine damage in the long run. Not a good idea unless you've got someone tuning your maf for you and a chip. Turning that dial doesn't cut it.

I am not sure? I read a topic someone posted on how running the engine lean can affect it in a harmful way, that is why I didn't want to mess with trying to figure it out on my own. I sent it back to be recalibrated. If you have the topic handy, post a link to it.
Trinity, every little bit of HP helps out, unless you have the cash for a Supercharger or the Turbo right away.
Thanks!!
