My stock MAF has the 97BB but the 2k Pro-M has the new electronics. Waiting on the 97BB. The Vortech uses stock electronics (PITA). I have a BAT Pipe/S+B Big Mouth/KKM Adapter/Optimized TB.

ok for me i got the larger maf cause i wanted a larger one that is smooth and flows more air. From what i understand what PRO- flow does is supposed to set the MAF to the same calibrations as the stock one, but since its larger it needs to have more air pass through the sensor to match the calibration and keep ur A/F the same. Now with the SAFC you take the stock settings and change it up that is also what the optimizer would do for you. The only code i get on the scanner is a P1000 which means test not complete. hope someone can help me...and i do have a safc but after i had that installed i left the settings to ZERo cause i had the CEL but even after resetting thed comp the 2nd cycle of the car it comes bacm

Po-Jay, I am wondering what your PRO-M has on it. On the top of the sensor the bottom line is supposed to have the # of the injectors and a C, EL, or some other initials. The EL meaning elbow is for an intake like the CAI, and the C meaning cone is supposed to be for a setup like the KKM. Mine has the EL, which is wrong because I have a KKM, and mine also doesn't have the # of injectors on it. The guy at PRO-M said it should.
Jaiko, the 75mm Pro-M is supposed to be a bolt on without any of the hassle, but it seems like a lot of people are having little problems with it. You do have the 75mm Pro-M right?, or is it larger than that? My CEl takes about a day of on and off driving for it to come on and then I get the 170something which say's running lean. However the car does run great, I just don't want to be messing up something that I don't know about.
I am going to put mine back on tonight and turn the sensor to 3 o'clock and see if that will actually work. Hopefully this isn't just a waste of my time!!

Kieth, I tried to install my MAF earlier using the stock box, while waiting for my new filter, but it doesn't fit w/ the stock box. Anyway, I started it up w/ the filter *basically* sitting right in front of the MAF, and it started up a-ok, no rough idle, nothing. But, I didn't rev it up more than 500 more RPM for fear of sucking something huge into my engine. Does yours idle ok? Also, were you in on the GB for this MAF that I started in Feb? Just wondering.

Derk2000, I was a couple days short, if you remember I emailed you and asked if I could still get in on it. M.M. gave me the same price as the group buy though. My car idles fine, and goes through the RPM fine. It actually seems like it just screams to readline and it pulls so much more!! The only problem is my CEL that I get. Like I said, I would let it go if I knew that I wasn't harming anything. However if I am running lean that means I could get a little more HP if I could get enough fuel there.

Turning my MAF around, didn't do anything for me. I put my stock one back on last night. I called Muscle Motors and now I am not sure what they want me to do because they told me that I should send it directly to Pro-Flow. Pro-Flow told me to send it back to Muscle Motors because that is who I purchased it from. I think Pro-Flow is right, however I don't want to be waiting another 3 months for it to be recalibrated?

That would solve my problem, however I am not going to buy something else to fix a defective product from the start. I haven't heard back from Muscle Motors yet, so I don't know what is going to happen. So I wait!!
