Ok, so last night I met this kid who I'm guessing was about 16 or 17 at a place where all the street racers meet up (no races happened). First off I don't think that this kid was straight in the head, anyways, we were talking about my car and he wanted to know what I had under the hood, of course I said it was purely stock. Then out of the blue he tells me that he met some guy that is running a mid 9 second Contour... He is also saying he saw it run at the tracks, but he couldn't give me any details on the car. The only thing he told me that was done to the car is that it had an engine swap. Now heres my thing, what on gods green earth would you have to do to an SVT to get it even in the Tens??? My only thought is maybe a 3.0 with turbo and a crap load of NOS. Or do you think somehow he was able to put a 5.0 in to the Contour?
